Conheça as principais vantagens do comentado armazenamento na NUVEM

Mas, para começarmos, vamos entender primeiro o que é a definição de Cloud Computing.

Cloud Com­put­ing, ou, Com­putação na Nuvem – se ref­ere a um con­ceito tec­nológi­co e um mod­e­lo de negó­cio que reúne ideias diver­sas, per­mitin­do aos usuários que acessem arquiv­os, soft­wares, aplica­tivos e dados por meio da inter­net.

Se ain­da não está claro, deixe-me exem­pli­ficá-lo: se você já edi­tou um doc­u­men­to no Google Docs, ouviu músi­ca no Spo­ti­fy ou assis­tiu a um filme na Net­flix, teve con­ta­to dire­to com a com­putação em nuvem. Todos eles são serviços online que não exigem o down­load, insta­lação e aces­so de qual­quer tipo de soft­ware ou arqui­vo no seu com­puta­dor. Você só pre­cisa de um nave­g­ador e uma boa conexão com a Inter­net para usá-los.

Mas, para que serve o Armazenamento na Nuvem?

Se anal­is­ar­mos o mod­e­lo tradi­cional de com­putação, em que usuários e empre­sas pre­cisam inve­stir em down­loads, hard­wares, sis­temas opera­cionais e soft­wares para con­seguir algum tipo de apli­cação, é fácil enten­der o porquê de a com­putação em nuvem ter se tor­na­do tão pop­u­lar.

A nuvem surgiu como uma for­ma de democ­ra­ti­zar infor­mações e mel­ho­rar a exper­iên­cia de quem depende de recur­sos tec­nológi­cos em nív­el pes­soal ou profis­sion­al.

A computação em nuvem trouxe inúmeras vantagens. Veja abaixo:

1 — A redução de cus­tos com infraestru­tu­ra: uma vez que elim­i­na os gas­tos de cap­i­tal com com­pras de hard­ware e soft­ware, insta­lação e manutenção;

2 — A econo­mia do espaço: dado que os recur­sos per­manecem armazena­dos online;

3 — A cen­tral­iza­ção da infor­mação: impedin­do que todos os dados sejam man­ti­dos em difer­entes pro­gra­mas, com difer­entes tipos de for­mulários de aut­en­ti­cação e aces­so;

4 — O aumen­to ou diminuição de acor­do com a neces­si­dade do cliente: graças ao poder de elas­ti­ci­dade que fornece a quan­ti­dade ide­al de recur­sos, armazena­men­to e proces­sa­men­to;

5 — Tra­bal­ho remo­to: fun­cionários da empre­sa podem aces­sar todos os dados através de qual­quer com­puta­dor, note­book, tablet ou smart­phone, des­de que este­jam conec­ta­dos à Inter­net.

6 — Pro­teção e recu­per­ação: Em caso de per­da, por algu­ma razão cat­a­stró­fi­ca (incên­dios, enchentes etc.), você terá back­ups de todos os arquiv­os orig­i­nais para que pos­sa restau­rá-los com o tem­po de ina­tivi­dade zero.
